A break from Broad Street to the Hydro showroom by Sam Croy 45 minutes into the 2013 New Year's Day Boy's Ba' set the Doonies on the path to victory. A one hour hiatus in the lane beside John Scott & Miller's after a thwarted Uppie break and an attempted move up Shore Street were the only stumbling blocks on the way to the basin.
Taylor Pilkington-Tait was declared the winner shortly before half-past twelve.
